Prayer of Praise
Psalms 145 v 1 I will extol thee, my God, O king: and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
V2 Every day will I bless thee: and I will praise they name forever and ever.
V3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
V4 one generation shell praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
Daily I walk deeper into the waters of the Most High. In this place I remove the weights I carry and allow them to fall deep into the water and I cleanse myself of all the sin and shackles that held me. I swim to the shore of safety and out of the deep waters. I begin to walk the shoreline, I remember not the weights I carried as they are left in the deep waters.
Further and further I walk alone on the shoreline , I begin to give Jesus Christ Praise and deny the works of the deep waters.
Intersession is my praise , but still the weight that I carried slowly creeps between my toes and reminds me of the shackles that held me captive to sin. I begin again to give praise to Jesus for all He has done and I praise Him for leading me to safety.
I cry out Jesus rescue me and take me away from this place that taunts me and tries to pull me back to the deep. I begin to wade back into the waters of defeat but, I hear a voice say my child Im here call to me. I turn to see Jesus His hands stretched out and he pulls me close to Him and lifts me out of the water. He says child remember Im always here to carry you to safety.
Remember, as you feel overwhelmed and defeated, Jesus is always near to bring you to safety. Don’t let anxiety and fear trap you, instead look up and call on the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
He is your friend and closer than a brother.
